Feeling Has Gone (12" - 1998, deleted) & Download

The last single to be released on limited edition 12" only, features Saoirse Keogh on vocals on the title track. Also included is the full version of the dark d'n'b track "New Morning" and on the flip side two exclusive ambient tracks - "Insomnia" and "Herb (ambient 3)". Limited pressing on 12" only.

Reviews:

"COD (hah!) have dived into drum n' bass, making it trippy as only they could, with wafty quasi-orchestral overlay. Hmmm." Melody Maker (Turntable 10)

"Very pleasant is the title tune... full of standard COD elements but with a wicked break-beat, a gorgeous grooving bassline and an eerie yet beautiful vocal by Saoirse Keogh.." The Prisoner

'...on a drum & bass tip and very pleasant is the title tune, full of standard C.O.D. elements but with a wiicked break-beat, a gorgeous grooving bassline and an eerie yet beautiful vocal by Saoire Keogh. Also on the EP are another new D&B type tune, an ambient reworking of Herb with a lazy sax melody and some nice bass, plus a very stark sounding and monged out ambient piece called insomnia.' Sexual Chocolate

'I suppose it was inevitable that C.O.D. would evolve from the dubby trance sound that was so characteristically theirs. The new sound is still mainly instrumental, but varies on the 12" between jungle and ambient. The 4 tracks display a maturity of styles, each one very different. The vocalist Saoirse Keogh may not be a household name and combining the pounding jungle beats with a stomach wrenching bass, her voice leaves the listener exhausted. after the title track it's all change with a mix of hip-hop and jazz all bound together with sticky acid on New Morning. Flipping over the vinyl,  the ambient version of Herb is a reworking from the excellent ESP album and finally Insomnia will allow the body to restfully relax with a brooding orchestral ambience that is rarely heard.'

Released in 1997, the 2nd single from the album 'ESP'. It includes  total reworking of the classic first single into a pulsating trance monster as well as two exclusive trance remixes of "Rhythm Of Life", the original version of which appears on the album ESP. Limited pressing on 12" only.
Contributors: Luke Eastwood

Reviews:

"A reeling trance gem that'll wipe out your mind as well as shuffles them feets." Generator

"Excellent trance. A real light, morning track that drifts and uplifts you from a heavy night before. Subtly dragging you back into a tranced out state - without overdoing it." Gulfin

'.On the A side the Biorythmic mix of Rhythm Of Life throws in hints of break-beats and builds in pace over fragrant melodies, while keeping an easy hypnotic feel. The 101 Acid remix is subtler but builds into more full layers later in the tune. Nemesis is a steady chillout number sliding in trippy trills and psychedelic beats, Two early morning chill tunes. 7/10.' Wax

'Three track 12" of trance. There's 2 trance mixes of Rhythm Of Life which are pretty good but a little similar and a brilliant new deep trance mix of Nemesis; just when you thought the tune had been remixed to death here comes another top rendition.' Sexual Chocolate

'Don't know anything about this triple tracker which on one side are two tracks of fast European styled trance with a light feel. The other side is slower, with the usual synthy and oscillating wibbles and is a nice hypnotic dose of trance. Nice 7/10.' Mixmag

Reviews:

"The title track is a piece of classic dub trance... four tracks of wonderfully chilled-out and swirling dub trance." Brum Beat

"This 12" is a liquid-nitrogen-cool sound combining deep reverbs and depth charged echos which float on a landscape where trance, dub, ragga and chill-out all collide head on." Dream

'Better known for their excursions into neo-dub this track (Electronic Meditation) of their new 'Greed EP' show UK act Children Of Dub in their trance mode. It will appeal to rock afficiandos as well, since ti's more 'psychedelic' than 'dance'. The title track 'Greed' comes in 2 mixes which are more suited to after hours entertainment.' The Prisoner

'Many electronic trance cmusic composers, so appreciated at rave parties put a lot of refection and true skills into their music. This piece is a good dancing length and is certainly very well done.' Generator

'A limited edition 12" release of swirling and tranced out dub featuring vocals by David Riley. The title track is a piece of classic dub trance in the style of Trancemasters which is followed by Electronic Meditation. The b-side features a dreamy and chilled-out remix by Surge, ending with the equally chilled-out Xepha. four tracks of wonderfully chilled out and swirling dub trance..' Reviews:

"That of course is what Children Of Dub shall become famous for and this EP shall be quoted as a pristine example of their mastery of that particular (space) craft." The Prisoner

"Mesmerizing Trance music to transport you, the dear listener to a dimension so far removed from our own that it only deepens that pulse, the beat that holds you're mind together.." The Beat

'Chillout like it should be - enough beat and groove to keep you nodding your head while the rest of the sounds drift around you. Might be unfashionable with DJs but it's the type of thing I want to hear when I go into a chillout room..' Fly On The Web

"A top club sound from the fairly new Diversity label. This band belong with Banco De Gaia, Pipe Of Justice and EatStatic. It's going down real well on the dancfloor at Prisoner HQ and the 12" remixes from Monkey Pilot, Bumpy Capers and Cyberia. It's ambient, it's trancey, EEEzie listening.' The Prisoner
